If you see this message, then it’s already abundantly clear I’ve (finally) updated the website. In the coming days, the galleries will flesh out with portfolio work, and I’ll have caught up with the mobile-ready craze.
More often than not, when I tell someone about what I do and where to find me on the web, they immediately search for this site on their smartphone. Gone are the days of long loading waits and jotting things down to reference later. It even seems like business cards themselves are redundant. Mobile friendliness is where it’s at.
I’ve chosen a responsive set-up, so the user interface is the same across platforms as much as possible.
Benefits of mobile sites, whether responsive or crafted specifically for mobile include:
- Better user experiences
- Increased average of time spent on your site
- Faster speeds
- Distinct advantage over your competition
Easy is everything these days, and if your friend texts you the link to a website, there’s nothing more annoying than a jumble of broken code, text, and overflows.
Let me know what you think of the new look in the comments!
